EE Café - Environmental & Energy Building
Student Area Renovation - Lucas Center
Roche Bioscience
Glycol System Upgrade. The Bay Area Builders team of
construction personnel installed a new 2,500 gallon stainless steel glycol skid, which allowed Roche to more precisely control the temperatures of their pharmaceutical chemicals, a critical part of their research. This job was characterized by extremely tight working areas.
IBM
IBM, San Jose, CA – BAY AREA BUILDERS has a long history working on IBM’s South San Jose Campus. From small maintenance improvements to complete building modifications for clean room and fabrication areas, or general office space improvements, BAY AREA BUILDERS came in on time and on budget, everytime.
Hewlett Packard
BAB has remodeled auditorum conference rooms on several Bay Area sites. These projects required close coordination with architects, audio-video consultants, and acoustical engineers.
We also created full floor server farms for Hewlett Packard's IT Division in several buildings at HP's Cupertino CA facility.
Seagate Magnetics
Interior architectural and structural renovations. Total demolition of building Interior and the reconstruction of two clean rooms. BAY AREA BUILDERS coordinated scope development and design work, and project managed all construction.
Design and Build, multi-phased placement of seven Intervac 250B sputtering tools and their associated architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades. Scope also included working closely with the Owner to coordinate building services with the new tool placement and total design of support services and structure. All layout incorporated cleanroom processes and protocols.
Valley Medical Center
Bay Area Builders personnel installed a state of the art pneumatic tube system to be used for specimen delivery throughout the hospital. A new penthouse was built for the vacuum and switching systems. All work was in compliance with the State of California Office of Statewide Health and Planning Department (OSHPOD).
